Reflections on the Red Line Protest - July 8th

On July 8th, I had the privilege of joining over 100,000 peaceful protestors at the White House for the red line protest against Joe Biden's red line policy on Palestine. The energy and unity among the crowd were palpable as we stood together, demanding justice and an end to the violence in Rafah.

As a first-generation Lebanese-American and activist, this event was deeply personal. Witnessing such a diverse group of individuals come together to stand up for human rights was both inspiring and humbling. The chants, signs, and speeches echoed our collective call for peace and justice, highlighting the urgent need for change.

The protest was a powerful reminder that our voices, when united, can make a difference. It reinforced my commitment to The HALO Movement and our mission to advocate for oppressed communities. I left the protest more determined than ever to continue our work towards a more just and equitable world.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who support our cause. Together, we can create meaningful change and bring about the justice that is long overdue. Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to get involved with The HALO Movement.
